Missing an app in QuickInstaller? Submit it straight from the client. The form arrives pre-filled, so you only add the missing details. Open Installed Applications or Portable Applications and run Check For Updates. An app QuickInstaller does not know yet gets a Submit button in its row. You can also right-click the row and choose Submit Application.... If you are not signed in, your browser opens first so you can log in. Your browser opens a draft with the app's name, version, publisher, platform and language already filled in. Add the Category, License and Description Url. Add a short description, a description and a logo address if you can. The links next to those labels search the web for you. For each platform, add the Download Url. Silent install and uninstall parameters are optional, and QuickInstaller detects common installer types by itself. Your submission is listed on My app submissions, where other users can vote for it. Use a link from the publisher that always gives the latest version. If the direct link contains a version number, give the publisher's download page that contains the link instead. If there are separate packages per platform, give one link for each. The installer should carry the real version of the app, and the app should register that same version as its DisplayVersion in Windows, so QuickInstaller can tell when it is out of date. The executable should carry the real version of the app in its file properties. Microsoft Store and built-in Windows apps.
