Install new apps
Browse Applications is QuickInstaller's catalog. Search it, tick the apps you want, and install them all at once.
Find apps
- Open Browse Applications. The list loads in batches of 50 as you scroll.
- Type in Search Apps (at least 3 characters), then press Enter or choose Search. Matching ignores letter case and accents.
- Narrow the list with filters. Category: is All or Selected (the categories ticked in the list on the left; click a category name to browse just that one). Type: is All, Installs or Portable. License: is All, Free, Trial or Paid.
- Search text and filters apply together when you press Enter or choose Search. Until then you see Press Enter or Search to apply your changes.
Rows show badges beside the version, such as Portable, Msi and Beta. The Language and Platform columns let you pick which installer an app uses.
Select many apps and install
- Tick every app you want. Ticked apps stay at the top when you search again, change filters or scroll. Loaded: and Selected: show the counts, and Clear selection unticks everything.
- Choose Install.
- Follow each row's Status: Waiting to download..., Downloading, Downloaded, waiting to install..., Installing, then Install Completed. Cancel stops the whole batch. Search and filters stay locked until it finishes.
By default QuickInstaller installs silently when an app supports it. To see an installer's own windows, or handle one app alone, right-click its row and choose Install Software, Install Software Silently or Download package.
Download only, or keep the installers
Open Settings › Downloads & installation › Downloads.
- Download without installing saves installer files to the download folder without starting them. It applies to Install here and to Update in the other lists.
- Delete installer files after installation is on by default. Turn it off to keep the installers.
- Download folder sets where files go.
Betas and administrator prompts
Beta builds are listed separately with a Beta badge. Include beta versions (Settings › Updates & automation › Application updates) controls whether update checks and imported lists consider beta releases.
If an installer needs administrator rights, Windows shows its own permission prompt, and QuickInstaller itself keeps normal permissions. Declining it cancels the whole batch. Turn on Keep administrator access until QuickInstaller closes (Settings › Downloads & installation › Installation behavior) to reuse your first approval for the whole session. See Administrator prompts.
